Atea stall is a place where people can drink tea beside their gossiping. It is a small shop. Tea is mainly served her to people. Besides biscuits, cakes, bananas, loaf, cigarettes, and betel leaves also sold here. The place is very common for the general people. we may find it on the street sides, on the bus, the lunch, and the railway stations or in front of the office, besides of cinema hall.

A few benches or chairs with tables are placed in a tea-stall. People from different class people come here. They come here for taking tea and light refreshment. During taking tea, they discuss various topics such as politics, current affairs of the country, etc. It opens early in the morning and closes late at night.

The shop is run by one or two boys. All-time the boy of the stalls has to busy to serve tea. A TV set is also seen in a tea stall to attract customers. Nowadays, a stall has become very popular all year round. Not only people drink tea in winter but also the drink it in summer. Indeed a tea stall is an important place of social gathering.
